  1. I’m going to write a comment coz i found this video very useful. first of
all, you are awesome. the amount of knowledge you have …can’t imagine how
long it would take me to gather it all. the fact that you freely give it
out makes you some sort of production gandhi…looking out for the other
    guy. fair play to that!
i tried out the volume automation trick, and although the results speak for
themselves, it is sooooo fiddly to do! finding each kick and each
snare…so i tried the LFO option. while it took me ages to make it work in
logic, it finally did! now although it is cheap to buy, as is volume
shaper, i had to find an even cheaper way to do it coz i haven’t made any
money off music production yet and although i used to get cracked software,
    i no longer do.
but wait! why serum has all the buttons LFO has right? and Steve kindly
bundled FX with the synth. so…after a few tweaks, i managed to mage the
compressor do the same thing by sjidechaining the threshold and now i have
free volume ducking with huge control albeit slightly less than drawing
    each automation in.
i say free…well i bought serum so since i already have it, it’s the use
of LFO or volume shaper at no extra cost.
    Thanks Seamless

  2. Hey love you vids! one question though, When you are sending off the track
to get mastered elsewhere, do you leave the levels of the drums way higher
than everything else? Or is it just when you are doing your own mastering?
