  1. How about local, service industry, auto shops, plumbers, hvac…. google is cracking down on verification, mind putting together your course of action for 2017 next week?

Also the importance of having a physical business address vs working out of your home?

  2. Awesome video Chase, would love to see an ongoing black hat series from you since you’re so straight up about its limitations and pitfalls. Understanding black hat SEO really provides some context to modern day white hat SEO. Thanks again!

  3. OMG (an SEO group ) teaches people strictly to use PBNs . That’s an $8000 course . I wonder if people are just wasting time with that . It’s also a 16 month program .

  4. comments on the responsive when indexing mobile first. so we had elements on the mobile version but it’s the same version as the desktop it responds to the device screen and browser. so is it safe to assume that indexing the full content will not be an issue?

  5. Fascinating stuff Chase. It was funny that Josh (representing White Hat in your conversation) was being sarcastic as to how backlinks should be made by providing exceptional content that everyone with a blog would want to link to, and that this does not really happen. I agree with him. I also agree with your comment that White Hat now is all about being passively aggressive, i.e. being aggressive about your outreach without directly requesting a link and without specifying how this link should be. The question I have is when that moment comes when you can have your content in a high profile site and you are desperate for an optimised link to bring you to the next stage in your rank, how do you ask for that without being direct?
