  1. If you have a PC, WordPad is the default text editor. You can also download free ones online… Editpad, and Notepad come to mind.

  2. Thanks Jason this was really useful and I am sure it will help with our search engine optimization efforts

  3. Easy when you know how eh?  Much obliged Jason already added two transcripts thanks to your most helpful tutorial 🙂

  4. Thank you very much Jason! Very usefull, now we can cut out “Final Cut” by using this powerfull tool!

  5. I couldn’t agree with you more. Additionally I want to mention that I use youtube to bring more visitors to my website since i am a video marketer, and I believe this video is very helpful. I’d recommend that you go to my channel on youtube and find out more regarding what i do for the benefit of my business _(how to get unlimited traffic, channel popularity, increase income, and much more…)_. to your success!!!

  6. Excellent. I may not do this for EVERY video due to the kind of videos I’m doing – many LONG game reviews or Let’s play videos, but this will certainly be useful for many of my other videos. Thanks for this!

  7. Sweet video. I know Youtube doesn’t index automatic captions, but do they index the captions if you edit one word on the automatic transcript and make it a custom transcript?

  8. If you want to do it right in youtube you can. Just click the subtitles and CC menu button. It gives you the option to type out the transcription and the video will pause for you while you type it. That is how I do it anyways. Maybe that will be easier or more helpful for y’all.
